10 years and multiple side projects have passed between the limited independant release of the demo album 'For What is Lost...' in 2007 and the present day. One resolute fact is obvious to all who know - Solais has been and will remain the primary creative outlet for vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Rhys Grimley. Even through complications with line-ups, relationships and other circumstantial obstacles, the current outlook has become one of focus and determination. Using the 2007 demo as a point of origin, Solais' upcoming release 'Beacon' shows a refined and deliberate progression of musicality, technicality and delivery that extends beyond what would normally be evident from a band who have essentially been dormant for a decade.
